I'm feeling oddly calm today as I type this. Things have been a little rough for me the past couple of days...nothing really bad has happened, I have just been kind of down. Today, I got a phone call...I'll spare you the details, but needless to say, it really lifted my spirits for today. Even though it's raining outside right now at my house, I seem to be weathering the storm just fine inside.
I really like the rain. It reminds me of rebirth, washing away the old and bringing in the new. Somehow it's reassuring that nature gets to start over each time it rains...it's all one big cycle.
