Exhibitionism Anyone?

One of the weird quirks that Ethan has recently exhibited is his need to remove his clothing at will. Thankfully, he hasn't done this in a store yet, but he has done it at my mom's house, at a friend's house, and at my grandmother's house. I'm not sure what the deal is with that. I never thought I'd have to utter the words, "Big boys keep their pants on." I swear sometimes we say the weirdest things as mothers. I find myself taken aback at times thinking, "Did I seriously just say that to my kid?"

We went to my Grandma Page's house on Friday for the big Pioneer Day barbecue and Ethan decided that his pants needed to come off while playing in the dirt. Thankfully, he left his underwear on! Earlier in the week he decided he was done swimming while we were at a friend's house and proceeded to come in the house naked. It's interesting. I guess it's his way of showing that he's a big boy and he can take off his clothes by himself. I would just rather he not do it in public.
