This Week's Update

This week has gone pretty well. Sydney had her four month checkup this week. She is growing so fast! It's amazing how fast they change. She already looks different from the family pictures Kelli took for us. (If you want to see some of them, check out her blog at www.kellismithphotography.com). Sydney is such a happy girl most of the time. She had kind of a hard time with her reaction to her shots, but she's doing well now.

Ethan was off school for most of the week due to Parent Teacher Conferences. We did that on Wednesday. His teacher and the speech language pathologist are so impressed with his progress. I am so proud of him. Putting him in this preschool has helped him so much! He is so much more confident and willing to try new things. Both Dan and I are extremely grateful for his teacher and the aides in the class. They are wonderful people. You can tell they really care about him and the other kids in his class.

On Friday, the weather looked decent in the morning and the forecast seemed pretty mild, so I told Ethan we could go to the zoo. We have a membership there and it's so fun! By the time we got there, it was snowing just barely so we walked around for a bit. The animals were really active, especially the cats. The snow leopards were really loving the cold I think. Ethan was so excited to have fun at the zoo. He has been wanting to go for a while. By the time we left it was blowing snow, so it was good to get out of there.

Today I went to the Quilted Bear and got Sydney her first headband. She is so cute in it! I love it...even though she could probably get satellite channels on it. It's really fun having a girl and doing these kind of girly things.

This weekend looks to be good, church tomorrow and then a family get together. We're also finishing Sydney's room this week. *Hopefully* :)
