That is what I'm trying to accomplish right now. Relaxation has eluded me before, but I'm actually doing pretty well now.
I went to a new primary care doctor this week. I liked him. He seemed really competent and understanding about my issues. He even offered some additional insight as to a more specific diagnosis, so that was nice.
This week has been pretty eventful for us. We found out our car will need to be replaced sooner than we thought. We're still figuring out the logistics of that and babying the car along until we figure it out though. Dan's green Audi actually died last week. The engine threw a rod or something. It went to the car graveyard. It was a good car for us though. Dan actually misses having it too. He loved that car.
Sydney is now eight months old! The time has gone by so fast! She is sitting up and babbling a lot. She loves everyone and has such a sweet happy spirit about her. We just love it.
We also celebrated the Fourth with all of our traditional stuff, but I'll have to blog about that when I'm actually at the computer. We had a lot of fun and I got some really cute pictures.
We went to Jenny's house on Friday to hang out and have a little birthday celebration for Julia. We really had a great time! The kids played in the water and we had pizza and cupcakes. We also watched Princess and the Frog, which I hadn't seen.
All in all, we've had a good couple of weeks. We've had some bumps in the road, but we're moving in the right direction. I'll post again soon with some of the fun pictures.
Until then...
