You know, perspective is a crazy thing. It's like one minute the world is flat and the next you're off on a voyage to find out that it's not. We all have our problems in this life, but I don't know if we all realize that it's not easy for any of us really.
If you take the sum of the pieces of the good things going for everyone it fills in our "holes" so to speak. I think that must be why we seek out friends and companions in life. Together, we can lift each other up and fill in some of the holes.
November is always a time of reflection, you know, Thanksgiving and all of that, but I've recently really been trying to appreciate what's around me and live in the moment. Sometimes I have a hard time with Ethan or Sydney, but if I just wait a few minutes Ethan's sense of humor will lighten my load, or hearing my little girl say Mama makes my heart swell.
If this sounds rambling, I'm sorry, but my point is this, there's always something that can be fixed, bettered, or changed in our lives, but today I'm grateful for what is. Today I have a wonderful family, a loving husband, two beautiful children, and some very loving friends in my life. I'm grateful for you all and love you all. I'm grateful for what is and what will be.
