Twilight...

Well, I got to see it this weekend. I really enjoyed the movie. I was afraid of how it might translate to the screen from the book, but I think they did a really good job casting the whole thing. I thought the acting was good, and yes, there were some gooey parts to the movie, but if you think back, the book was that way in parts too. It is geared towards teenage girls after all.

For me, it took me back to how I felt when Dan and I were first together, that can't live without you, my heart aches when you're not there, type of feeling. I've always enjoyed this story because it takes me back to a piece of myself when I was a "Bella," as I think everyone was. I always felt that I was not good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, and that I was so awkward at times that it was bordering on painful. That is why I enjoy these stories. I guess it fulfills that desire of my teenage heart to be rescued during that time by my Edward.

The casting was really well done in the movie. I really enjoyed all of the main characters and their portrayals of them. I especially liked the guy who played Charlie. I thought overall, everyone did a good job and they definitely picked the right Edward and the right Bella.

Overall, I really enjoyed the movie. I love losing myself in a story like that, whether it's reading it or watching it. If you haven't seen it, go see it and lose yourself in it. It's nice to take a break from reality...even if it's only for a couple of hours.

Hey Alesha!! I went and saw it on Saturday and loved it too. I started to re-read Twilight and it's been fun to see how much dialogue they used from the book! Happy Thanksgiving!! Talk to ya soon.
